Lancaster driver’s cocaine and cannabis trip while armed with a flick knife

A Lancashire motorist has been arrested after getting behind the wheel armed with a flick knife and while high on cocaine and cannabis.

The motorist was stopped by officers from Lancashire Police in the Lancaster area late last night (Saturday, November 28) after they became suspicious of the vehicle.

Upon inspection, the driver was found to have no valid licence and insurance.

And to make matters worse, they were under the influence of both cocaine and cannabis and armed with a flick knife with a 10 centimetre long blade.

Officers arrested the motorist for his offences.

A Lancaster Area Police spokesperson said: “Tonight officers from Team 5 have been on duty.

“A stop and search encounter on a suspicious vehicle and its occupants has resulted in an arrest for possessing a knife, class A drugs and driving under the influence of cocaine and cannabis, and driving without licence or insurance.

“If you know someone who is driving under the influence of drugs or carrying weapons in public please let us know, before they kill themselves or someone else.
